First Impressions Preschool and Parents’ Day Out 

is a Christian early-childhood center sponsored by Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene.

Preschool Purpose:

The Preschool Program is designed to provide a rich program of learning experiences to help your child make the transition from home to school.  It strives to create an environment that gives your child a strong sense of security and self-worth, as well as providing activities which give them a sense of achievement.  The program creates a loving atmosphere where your child can grow and develop physically, socially, spiritually, and intellectually.

Parents’ Day Out Purpose:

The Parents’ Day Out program has been designed to provide loving, quality child care on a limited basis.  We offer care for infants and children who are not yet in First Grade.

Spiritual Development:

Since ours is a church-related preschool, your child will be exposed to basic religious concepts.  Your child will learn about:

• God as the Creator and One who loves us
• Jesus as God’s Son who loves us and is our Friend
• The Bible as a way God talks to us
• Prayer as a way to talk to God
• Church as one place to worship God
• Religious holidays
