Prayer Shawl Ministry

Prayer Shawl Ministry involves God’s people who are willingly giving of their talents to knit and/or crochet prayer shawls/blankets. Shawls/blankets are presented as God directs to those who are especially in need of a tangible expression of His care and concern. It is a thing of beauty and warmth, an expression of love and prayers among the thorns of life. Each shawl/blanket is saturated in the prayers of our ministry group. A prayer is said when the shawl/blanket is started as well as being included in a prayer time at each of our monthly meetings.

  • Generally meets the third Thursday of each month at
  • 7:00 p.m.
  • KCFC Library
  • No childcare is provided.

Wind in Our Hair
We'll take occasional day trips or overnight trips on Friday-Saturday or short holidays. At the other end we'll have a devotional and time of sharing. There's only one requirement: everyone must travel on a motorcycle or in a convertible with its top down all the way. In other words, you have to get there and back with the wind in your hair (unless you wear a helmet). Any time cold weather or rain is in the forecast, the trip will be rescheduled -- so this is definitely a group of "fair weather friends." Come on . . . let's ride!
