Quizzing

Children's Quizzing is a fun and mind stimulating way for children to learn Scripture. It is an indepth study of a book of the Bible, and memorization of 20 Bible verses through song. Once a month the kids gather at local Nazarene churches to have quiz meets.

In Children's Quizzing, children do not compete against each other to determine one winner and churches do not compete against each other to determine the top church.

Each child challenges himself or herself to reach award levels. In this approach, children quiz against a base of knowledge, not each other.

The multiple-choice method of competition allows every child to answer every question. This approach makes it possible for every child to score a perfect score.

There are two levels of competition.

The RED LEVEL is for beginning quizzers and children who need or desire a simple competition. Competition questions come directly from the book.

The BLUE LEVEL is for advanced quizzers and children who need or desire an advanced form of competition. Some competition questions are new and require a higher level of thought processing.

Blue Level Quizzing meets on Sunday nights from 4:30 - 5:45 durring the months of September - April. Red Level Quivzzing meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 - 8:00. Quizzing is open to all children grades 1st - 6th.
